The competition included twelve schools from Negros Occidental. Our NU Bacolod teams competed in two categories, 1st year and 2nd year, and achieved strong results in our first year of participation. Since NU Bacolod is only in its second year of operations, we have no 3rd- or 4th-year students and therefore did not have contestants in those categories.

In Category 1, Fundamentals of Accounting, our NU Bacolod team placed third. The team members were Jose Seth Tomas P. Balmes, Jazmin Ruth P. Buala, and Steve Martin G. Dioneo. Dioneo also placed fifth in the individual ranking.

In Category 2, Financial Accounting and Reporting Level 1, our NU Bacolod team earned another third place finish. The team members were Zitsh Arrence E. Rafael, Paul Antawn B. Guinalon, and Kathreen Andrea B. Jover.

We congratulate our students for their outstanding performance. We also commend our faculty advisers for their guidance and support to the teams.
