NU PICE-NUSC Hosts ‘The Nationals: Intercollegiate Civil Engineering Quiz Bee’
The NU Manila College of Engineering, through the PICE – National University Student Chapter, successfully hosted the first-ever intercollegiate quiz bee for civil engineering students, bringing together participants from universities nationwide. The event tested students’ knowledge, problem-solving skills, and quick thinking through a series of challenging rounds, culminating in an intense Final Round where the top contenders battled for the championship.
The event was supported by Mega Review and Tutorial Center, which highlighted effective strategies for board exam preparation. Engr. Julious Macalinao, Director at Mega Review Center Manila, inspired participants to unlock their full potential and strive for excellence. Other sponsors included Microcadd Institute and XStructures, a PRC-accredited CPD provider, which shared valuable insights on bridging theory, software, and practical applications.
The quiz bee not only celebrated academic achievement but also encouraged camaraderie and professional development among aspiring civil engineers, paving the way for an annual tradition of competitive learning and innovation.
