NU CAH Recognized by an International Organization (Missionaries of the Poor) for Excellence in Community Service

The National University College of Allied Health recognizes a meaningful milestone as the Department of Nursing receives an Award of Recognition and Appreciation from the Missionaries of the Poor (MOP)—an international organization dedicated to serving marginalized communities.
The award recognizes the Nursing Program for exemplifying excellence in community extension through:
• Dedicated health outreach programs
• Holistic and patient-centered care
• Strong partnerships that promote dignity, health, and human compassion
The event also marked the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between National University and the Missionaries of the Poor, further strengthening collaboration in delivering sustainable healthcare initiatives and community-based programs.
The Missionaries of the Poor commended National University for embodying the true spirit of service, compassion, and global citizenship—values that continue to define our commitment to #EducationthatWorks.
