Graduating NU girls’ volleyball team members commit to NUWVT

Things are looking good for the NU women’s volleyball team after prized high school spikers committed to stay in National U.

UAAP champion team members and NU girls’ volleyball team starters Mhicaela Belen, Alyssa Solomon, Erin Pangilinan, Sheena Toring, Kamille Cal, Merienne Maderazo and Taylor Pena expressed their intent to stay and remain loyal to the Jhocson squad.

Belen is UAAP Season 82’s Most Valuable Player while Solomon is Season 82’s Best Opposite Hitter. Pangilinan will also be a huge asset to the team after serving as the team captain of the girls’ squad while also expected to shine in the seniors are middle blocker Toring, setter/opposite hitter Cal, libero Maderazo and Pena.

According to NUWVT head coach Norman Miguel, he is thankful for the commitment made by the girls.

“We all know that these players are highly skilled and competitive, which are huge factors for our dream of giving the NU community a championship title.”

The girls will join former high school teammates Ivy Lacsina, Princess Robles, Joyme Cagande, Jennifer Nierva and Elaine Cloza.
