- Industry Familiarization program at the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) immerses students in the country’s financial system. At BSP, they learn about monetary policy, banking regulation, and financial stability. At PSE, they gain exposure to capital markets, stock trading, and investment practices. - International Competition- BIGWORLD 2025: FINNOVATE – Acceleration for a Sustainable Tomorrow – BIGWORLD 2025: FINNOVATE – Acceleration for a Sustainable Tomorrow is a premier international event hosted by the Finance and Banking Society (FABS) of Universiti Utara Malaysia. It provides a dynamic platform for undergraduate students to apply innovative financial strategies in promoting sustainable development. The program empowers participants through real-world decision-making experiences, bridging academic learning with industry expectations.
- NUB JFINEX received national recognition from JCFAP as a nominee for two major awards: the Scholastic Award for academic excellence and the Helping Hands Award for community service. This honor highlights the organization’s dedication to both academic achievement and meaningful outreach.
- Eight groups of 3rd year students under NUB JFINEX proudly presented their research papers at the Global Business Conference Research Colloquium, showcasing their analytical skills and academic excellence in the field of business and finance. Among the presenters, one outstanding group was awarded Best Research Presentation bringing honor to NUB JFINEX and highlighting the quality of research within the organization.
- NUB JFINEX, through its NUB CARES initiative, conducted an entrepreneurship seminar at BJMP entitled “Path to Prosperity: Business and Entrepreneurship Training for PDLs. ” This program aimed to empower Persons Deprived of Liberty with practical business knowledge and skills, offering them a hopeful path toward reintegration and self-sufficiency.
- COMEPP National level – The victory in the national level of COMEPP last November 2024 was a proud moment for JFINEX and NU Baliwag. Our participant was recognized as champion for the Business Spoken Poetry category.
- Inter-Collegiate Finance Competition – On November 22, 2024, Financial Management students, alongside Accountancy students participated in the 24 Inter-Collegiate Finance Competition where they ranked 3 in the regional level while securing the 8 place in the national level.
- Affiliation with CFA Society Philippines – In August 2024, National University Baliwag Junior Financial Executives successfully became affiliated with CFA Society Philippines.
