Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS)

The HUMSS strand is designed to develop the students’ skills in understanding individuals and society.  It develops in the learner a deeper understanding of societal issues and the dynamics of human conditions.  Students will have a better appreciation and knowledge of culture, society, politics, art, and literature that provide a closer look into the interplay of different aspects of society.  It develops the students’ ability to understand the various life perspectives of peoples, being able to analyze, and create one’s objective opinion on individuals, society, politics, culture, technology, and religious belief.  Thus, the student is trained to think both critically and creatively, and to communicate ideas to influence human behavior, society, politics, and the cultural environment.

Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM)

Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) introduce accounting and business management to students who will be equipped to think systematically, critically, and innovatively.  By learning the rudiments, concepts, and principles of accounting, and business management, they are prepared to pursue college degrees focused on business and the industry.  Their contribution as future accountants, entrepreneurs, and business leaders will be vital to the progress, growth, and development of the local and national economy.  With ABM, students are familiarized with the corporate environment and are trained to be globally competitive.

Sciences, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)

In general, STEM is designed to prepare students in utilizing science, math, engineering, and technology to solving real-life problems to advance national development and contribute to world progress.  Students are trained as young scientists who can combine academics with technology and who are prepared to enter the collegiate level.  With the learner-centered curricula, students learn global skills, competencies, and knowledge, including work and life values that are prerequisites to successful career paths.
