Allen Sherwin Dela Cruz is a Payroll Specialist/Supervisor at National University. For him, NU is more than just a workplace—it is an environment that builds employees’ confidence and supports their growth.

He values the strong working relationships he shares with his coworkers, which make his work more meaningful and fulfilling. One of the most memorable milestones in his career was receiving his 5-Year Service Award, a recognition he takes great pride in.

Like many, Sherwin faced challenges during the pandemic, especially with the shift to work-from-home arrangements. Despite these changes, he remained adaptable, committed, and resilient.

The NU slogan “Kaya Ko, Kaya Mo” holds deep meaning in his life—not only in his career, but also in his roles as a husband and a father. As a person with a disability, there are moments when moving forward feels challenging, but his family—especially his young child—continues to inspire him to stay hopeful and determined.
