Haligi IX: Honoring the Past, Elevating the Future Marks the 80th Year of NU Architecture
The National University College of Architecture proudly celebrates its 80th founding anniversary with Haligi IX: Honoring the Past, Elevating the Future at Aliw Theater, Pasay City. Now on its ninth series, Haligi carried the theme “Celebrate,” highlighting architecture as a discipline that shaped experiences and communities. Esteemed speakers including Ar. Joey Manalad, FUAP, Dr. Carlo Santoro, Ar. Gerard Lico, FUAP, Ar. Daniel Lichauco, FUAP, and Ar. Royal Pineda shared insights on architecture’s role across various fields—from residential to healthcare, hospitality, and more.
The event also featured an exhibition of innovative design competition entries from NU architecture students across its campuses, showcasing creativity and forward-thinking solutions.
Marking eight decades of excellence, Haligi IX honored the NU College of Architecture’s rich legacy while inspiring future architects to build with vision, purpose, and innovation.
