NU Manila CTHM Students Champion Sustainability at the Youth for Tourism and Hospitality International Conference (Y4TH)
Congratulations to the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM), represented by Maika T. Gloria, Sean Mykell G. Cunanan, Julia Maxine M. Estacio, Rovhic B. Fernando, and Bernadeth P. Gatdula—Tourism Management students under the guidance of Mr. John Christopher B. Mesana of NU Manila—for bringing pride to the University at the Youth for Tourism and Hospitality International Conference (Y4TH), an annual gathering of students, professionals, and industry advocates celebrating innovation and excellence in tourism and hospitality.
The CTHM research team stood out among 16 entries nationwide, earning a spot in the Top 5 finalists and ultimately securing the championship title in the Tourism Research Presentation Competition.
Their winning research, “Heritage Bike Tour Experience Among Generation Z Tourists in Intramuros, Manila,” shed light on the growing appeal of sustainable and experiential tourism among young travelers.
This achievement reflects NU Manila’s continuous pursuit of research-driven and sustainable tourism initiatives.
