ArchWalk Exhibit Opens at SM City Manila for NU COA’s 80th Year
The ArchWalk Exhibit officially opens at SM City Manila in celebration of the NU College of Architecture’s 80th founding anniversary. Showcasing the creativity and talent of NU students, alumni, and faculty, the exhibit highlights the college’s enduring legacy of excellence in design.
The opening ceremony was graced by NU and industry leaders, including Ar. Ruiza Anne April Diestro (OIC Dean, NU Architecture), Mr. Adolfo Aran Jr. (Senior Director, Corporate Marketing & Communications), Ar. Bryll Edison Par (Event Director, ArchWalk), Ms. Ma. Lourdes Pauline Guanzon (Director, Resource Development), Mr. Arnie M. Vizmanos (Marketing Manager, SM City Manila), Ar. Joel V. Rico (PRC Most Outstanding Architect 2025, NU Alumnus), Ar. Bibiano Lusande (President, NUAA) and Ms. Kristine De Nava (Marketing Executive, Boysen Philippines), NU faculty, and students.
The event features a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a performance by the NU Brass Band, and ArchTalks by Ar. Rodel Soniel (NU Faculty, Partner – Saltbox Design Group) and Ar. Joel Rumbaoa (NU Alumnus, UAP Tandang Sora Chapter Secretary, A & K Construction Inc.), who shared their professional journeys to inspire the next generation of architects.
