On July 30, 2025, the ComEx Office successfully hosted a highly engaging health webinar titled “Every Hero Starts with Knowledge: A Pre-Donation Health Talk.” This crucial preparatory event was held in anticipation of the forthcoming “Dugong Dugtong Nationalian” blood donation drive.

The talk featured Mr. Cesar Cicero C. Cedullo from the College of Allied Health as the esteemed resource speaker. The goal of the session was to equip the Nationalian community with comprehensive health knowledge regarding blood donation—addressing safety protocols, eligibility requirements, and the profound impact of this selfless act.

With a strong attendance of 203 participants, the webinar successfully empowered and inspired the Nationalian community to confidently step up and become heroes by donating blood, ensuring they were well-prepared for the actual drive.

This health talk directly contributed to SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) by educating the public on safe health practices and promoting a key activity—blood donation—that is essential for maintaining strong national health systems and ensuring universal access to safe blood transfusions.
