NU Manila ComEx Caravan in Cabugao

From September 24–26, 2025, the National University, in partnership with Cabugao LGU and LE&D Electrical Solutions, successfully launched its three-day caravan with an Opening Program that set the tone for meaningful collaboration and service. The caravan featured a wide range of activities addressing health, education, skills development, and sustainable community growth. Highlights included the Bayanihan para sa Kalusugan Medical and Dental Mission (catering to 570 patients) in partnership with the SM Foundation Inc. and volunteer doctors from the College of Allied Health, Coaching Essentials Training, and the Basketball and Volleyball Sports Camp for the youth in collaboration with the College of Education, Arts, and Science.

Academic contributions were also showcased through the College of Engineering’s Tobacco Barn Design Presentation and the Ugnayan Eco-Labs Sanitary Workshops, which promoted practical solutions for community development and sustainability. Additionally, the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management’s Tour Guiding Seminar and Workshop, Food Startup Training (From Talon to Naimbag a Negosyo), and Needs Result Presentation provided valuable knowledge-sharing and capacity-building opportunities for the residents.

With the active participation of faculty, student volunteers, barangay officials, and local partners, the caravan embodied the true spirit of bayanihan, reinforcing NU’s commitment to health, education, and community empowerment.
