BEYOND NUNS: NU Nazareth School Strengthens Global Exposure through Academic Visit in Thailand

In partnership with First Eduspec and REX, NU Nazareth School continues to broaden its global engagement through international academic experiences. From October 9 to 12, 2025, Ms. Christchelle G. Mondano, Principal of the NU Nazareth School SHS Department, visited Amnuay Silpa School and Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Rajabhat University in Thailand for an insightful benchmarking opportunity.

The four-day academic visit aimed to explore how these institutions implement progressive education, technological integration, and holistic learner development. Both schools serve as exemplary models of how academic excellence can coexist with inclusivity, creativity, and student well-being. During her visit, Ms. Mondano identified several best practices that NU Nazareth can adapt, particularly in the areas of programs and curriculum, teaching and learning, and linkages and community engagement.

According to Ms. Mondano, these insights reaffirm NU Nazareth School’s mission of forming globally competent, reflective, and compassionate learners who embody the values of Dynamic Filipinism. By contextualizing the innovative practices observed in Thailand—such as metacognitive learning, bilingual instruction, digital innovation, and student wellness initiatives—NU Nazareth is poised to strengthen its journey as a transformative learning community, empowering every learner to think, lead, and serve with excellence and dignity.
