NU Lipa proudly celebrates Team Hirayon for emerging as Regional Champion of the Philippine Startup Challenge 10 – CALABARZON Regional Pitching Competition, held at the Digital Transformation Center CALABARZON, DICT Regional Office in Batangas City.

Competing against 101 entries from 40 schools, Team Hirayon stood out for their innovative and purpose-driven solution in health technology. The team is composed of Angel Malaluan, Chief Executive Officer; Aldrea Sarmiento, Chief Operations Officer; Marc Miranda, Chief Technology Officer; and Niccollo Dayrit, Chief Data Officer.

NU Lipa extends its sincere appreciation to Dr. Alice Lacorte for her mentorship, and to the SACE Faculty Coaches — Mr. John Carlo Torres, Ms. Jeanne Pauline Calvez, Mr. Reymark Natividad, and Mr. Joel Enriquez — as well as Dean Carol Matira for their steadfast support.

This achievement marks a significant step in NU Lipa’s pursuit of meaningful and impactful innovation, as Team Hirayon advances to the National Stage of the Philippine Startup Challenge.
