Inquirer, in partnership with NU, hosts Campus Talks on “Building Wealth Early”

Inquirer, in partnership with National University, hosts the Inquirer Campus Talks, an empowering session titled “Building Wealth Early: Why Starting Small Now Beats Investing Big Later,” at the NU Nazareth School’s Blessed Antonita Hall.
Students from the College of Business and Accountancy gather to gain practical insights on making smarter and more intentional financial decisions that lead to long-term success.
The event features discussions from esteemed industry leaders:
• Sean Si, Founder & Editor-in-Chief, SEO Hacker
• Marianne M. Santos, Director, Economic and Financial Learning Office, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas
• John Garcia, Head of Wealth Management Customer Success, GCash
Throughout the session, the speakers highlight that wealth-building does not begin with large capital; rather, it starts with small, consistent actions, informed financial decisions, and disciplined habits developed over time. With the rising accessibility of digital financial tools and platforms, students are encouraged to take initiative now instead of waiting for the “right moment.”

The event opens with an inspiring message from Mr. Cris Canaria, Director for Product Management and InquirerPlus and from Mr. Adolfo Aran Jr., National University Senior Director of the Corporate Marketing and Communications Office, emphasizing National University’s commitment to developing future-ready graduates equipped with both academic excellence and financial discipline.
