NU Fairview Psychology Faculty Members Present Paper at 49th Pambansang Kumperensiya sa Sikolohiyang Pilipino

NU Fairview Psychology faculty members Mary Jane Guba, RPSy; Ronnalie Mamon, RPSy; Rizzi Anne Miñoza, RPSy; Cieralene Anne Ignacio, RPm; and Renato Dela Rosa Jr., MA successfully presented their paper “Paghingi ng Tulong para sa Kalusugan ng Kaisipan ng mga Mag-aaral sa Kolehiyo sa Pilipinas—Isang Sistematikong Rebyu ng Literatura” at the 49th Pambansang Kumperensiya sa Sikolohiyang Pilipino and the 3rd Pambansang Kumperensiya sa Ginhawa, held at the University of the Philippines Diliman from November 27 to 29, 2025.
The conference, themed “Sikolohiyang Malaya’t Mapagpalaya, Lipunang Maginhawa at Mapagkalinga,” seek to advance the spirit of Sikolohiyang Pilipino by promoting well-being, decolonization of psychological practice, and culturally sensitive approaches for Filipinos.
The faculty members’ work contributes to the advancement of Sikolohiyang Pilipino by shedding light on factors that influence help-seeking among college students, including barriers, facilitators, and the role of government and institutional policies in shaping access to mental health support.
