NU Baliwag Empowers Communities Through Financial Literacy Initiative

Demonstrating its strong commitment to community engagement and inclusive education, NU Baliwag, through the General Accounting Office, in collaboration with NU Baliwag Senior High School and the Bulacan State University College of Business, Education, and Accountancy, successfully conducted a Financial Literacy Seminar for the 4Ps members of Baliwag City on December 11, 2025.

The seminar served as a meaningful platform to equip beneficiaries with essential financial skills, focusing on budgeting, saving, and basic entrepreneurship. These practical lessons were designed to help participants make informed financial decisions, strengthen household financial management, and explore sustainable livelihood opportunities for their families.

Aligned with NU Baliwag’s advocacy for education that creates real-world impact, the activity emphasized the role of financial literacy in building long-term security and self-reliance. The program concluded with a livelihood demonstration, providing participants with hands-on insights into income-generating activities and reinforcing the value of financial independence.
Through initiatives like this, NU Baliwag continues to extend learning beyond the classroom—empowering communities, fostering social responsibility, and living out its mission of Education That Works.
