NU Baliwag Shines Through Strategic Partnership with HREAP

NU Baliwag marked another significant milestone in its pursuit of academic excellence and industry relevance with the official signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Human Resource Educators’ Association of the Philippines (HREAP) last December 16, 2025. This strategic partnership opens valuable opportunities for BS Psychology students to earn the Certified Human Resource Associate (CHRA) micro-credential—an industry-recognized certification that strengthens their professional readiness.

Through this collaboration, NU Baliwag reinforces its commitment to bridging academic learning with real-world application. The CHRA micro-credential equips students with industry-aligned human resource competencies, practical knowledge, and professional certification that enhance their employability and career competitiveness in the evolving labor market.

The partnership with HREAP reflects NU Baliwag’s proactive approach in preparing students not only for graduation, but for meaningful careers. By integrating professional certification into the academic journey, the University continues to empower learners with skills that meet current industry standards while fostering lifelong learning and professional growth.

This initiative strongly aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

  • SDG 4: Quality Education, by ensuring inclusive, relevant, and future-ready learning opportunities;

  • SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, by improving students’ employability and workforce readiness; and

  • SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, through meaningful collaboration with professional organizations like HREAP.

As NU Baliwag continues to build strong industry partnerships, it remains steadfast in its mission to develop career-ready, values-driven, and globally competitive graduates, truly embodying its promise of Education that Works. 💛💙
