NU Baliwag Shines Through Industry-Driven Faculty Development
NU Baliwag continues to set the standard for innovative and industry-aligned education as the Senior High School – ABM Strand proudly spearheaded the implementation of the TESDA National Certificate (NC) II in Customer Service for all Senior High School educators. This forward-thinking initiative highlights NU Baliwag’s strong commitment to excellence—not only in student learning, but also in continuous faculty development.
While led by the ABM Strand, the program transcends strand boundaries by equipping teachers from various disciplines with essential competencies in effective communication, client relations, and service excellence. By ensuring that educators are TESDA-certified and industry-ready, NU Baliwag strengthens teaching practices that are relevant, practical, and responsive to real-world workplace standards.

This initiative reinforces NU Baliwag’s vision of producing future-ready learners by first empowering industry-ready teachers. When educators are trained with customer-centered and workplace-oriented skills, students across all career pathways benefit from learning experiences that are both academically sound and professionally relevant.

Beyond institutional impact, this program also supports key United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
-
SDG 4 – Quality Education: Enhancing teacher quality through industry-recognized certification
-
SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth: Promoting employability and workplace readiness
-
SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure: Strengthening education–industry alignment
At NU Baliwag, leadership means collaboration, innovation, and shared growth. By going beyond one strand and investing in holistic faculty development, NU Baliwag continues to shine as an institution that prepares both educators and learners to succeed in an ever-evolving professional landscape. 💛💙
