NU Baliwag BSHM Students Complete Safety Training

Fourth Year Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) students of NU Baliwag successfully completed their Fundamentals of Safety Training at COMPASS Training Center on February 10–11, 2026, marking a significant milestone in their journey toward becoming industry-ready hospitality professionals.

The two-day intensive program provided students with hands-on exposure to essential workplace safety standards and real-world hospitality practices. Through interactive demonstrations and practical exercises, participants learned proper emergency response procedures, hazard identification, and preventive safety measures critical to hospitality operations.

Beyond technical skills, the training also emphasized teamwork, leadership, and effective communication through engaging team-building activities. These experiences helped students develop professionalism, accountability, and collaboration—core competencies expected in today’s dynamic hospitality industry.

This initiative reflects NU Baliwag’s strong commitment to experiential and industry-aligned education, ensuring that students are well-prepared to meet professional demands even before entering the workforce.
