NU Baliwag STHM Presents: Business Idea Festival 2026 – The Venture Gallery

The School of Tourism and Hospitality Management (STHM) proudly showcased the creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit of its students during the Business Idea Festival 2026 – The Venture Gallery, an exhibit featuring conceptual business ideas and food styling outputs of Tourism and Hospitality students.

The event brought together two major academic showcases, from the Entrepreneurship in Tourism and Hospitality Management class, with the exhibit and competition presenting product concepts developed by 3rd year BSTM students. With the Food Styling and Photography class exhibit featuring professionally styled fusion dishes and plated food photography created by 4th year BSHM students, that includes on‑site food styling presentatiom and food tasting.

The event was organized by the BSTM TOU 232, also known as the Eluria Productions from their Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions (MICE) class. The event provided the students with real‑world exposure in managing exhibitions, handling stakeholders, and delivering professional event experiences.

We are also truly honored by the presence of our guest gracing the festival, with so much gratitude to the following individuals:

Dr. Ria Liza Canlas – President of Filipino Women Inventors and Innovators

Mr. Franz Alexander Surio – DTI Negosyo Center Business Counselor

Ms. May Arlene Torres – OIC Department Head, Provincial History, Arts, Culture, and Tourism Office

Mr. Michael Carlo C. Mariano – Supervising Science Research Specialist, DOST Bulacan

Ms. Jairah L. Fajardo – Science Research Specialist II, DOST Bulacan

Their participation highlighted the importance of industry‑academic collaboration in nurturing young innovators and future tourism and hospitality leaders. Same appreciation and gratitude to SM City Baliwag for their continuous support and accommodation.
