PROJECT NINGAS: SALIKSIK Program Advances Inclusive Education Pathways at NU Dasmariñas
NU Dasmariñas continues to strengthen its commitment to inclusive and accessible education through PROJECT NINGAS: SALIKSIK Program, a collaborative initiative aimed at expanding learning opportunities for diverse communities.
On April 13, 2026, NU Dasmariñas conducted a meaningful meeting and orientation with the Department of Education Alternative Learning System (DepEd ALS) – Division of the City of Dasmariñas, together with university academic officials. The engagement forms part of the preparations for the proposed ALS–Senior High School (ALS–SHS) Program, targeted for implementation in Academic Year 2026–2027.
The activity brought together key stakeholders from DepEd ALS and NU Dasmariñas to align on the program framework, define roles and responsibilities, and ensure compliance with necessary requirements ahead of its planned rollout.
Spearheaded by the Senior High School Department in collaboration with the Community Extension Office, the initiative aims to broaden access to education for ALS learners. The program is also envisioned to gain endorsement from partner government agencies such as the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), further supporting pathways toward inclusivity, sustainability, and employability.
Through PROJECT NINGAS: SALIKSIK Program, NU Dasmariñas takes a significant step toward building an education system that is responsive, inclusive, and accessible—ensuring that no learner is left behind.
