The Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) conducted an orientation visit at NU Dasmariñas on February 12, 2026 (Thursday). 

The orientation gathered esteemed PACUCOA accreditors, including Dr. Ferdinand Somido, Dean Julius Mesina, Mr. Romel Navarro, Dr. Rio Yutue, Dr. Teresita Calma, Dr. Melanie Florentino, and Engr. Elmer Tolosa. Present as well were Dr. Catherine D. Lagadia, RGC, Executive Director, and Mr. Jowie G. Espaldon, MAEd, LPT, Assistant Director for Quality Management. The visit was graced by NU President and CEO, Dr. Renato Carlos H. Ermita Jr. 

The PACUCOA Orientation Visit serves as an important step in preparing the University for accreditation. It provides guidance on the principles, standards, and procedures of accreditation, assesses institutional readiness, and supports NU Dasmariñas in its preparations for the upcoming accreditation visit under the PACUCOA Hybrid Accreditation Visit (HAV) system.
