On August 3, 2025, National University Manila demonstrated its strong commitment to youth empowerment and leadership development by participating in the Global Youth Summit 2025 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. With 515 participants, comprising students, faculty members, ASP, and university officials, proudly represented the university at this significant international event.

The Global Youth Summit served as a meaningful and dynamic venue for emerging young leaders to share groundbreaking ideas, engage in insightful discussions on critical global issues, and strengthen collaboration towards achieving global development goals.

NU’s substantial presence at the summit underscored its institutional dedication to empowering the youth and nurturing future leaders. By facilitating participation in such high-level international forums, the university ensures that Nationalians are prepared to think globally and create a lasting positive impact on society. The participation in the Global Youth Summit, a major collaborative forum, directly supports SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
