National University supports the Adopt-a-tree Program
National University was honored to collaborate on Environmentalism and Sustainability by joining the Adopt-A-Tree Program led by SM Leisure Resort and Residences in partnership with the SM Foundation.
The Adopt-A-Tree program, which began as a greening project, has flourished into an educational movement. Our participation helped support the program’s unique mission: not only to plant trees but also to fund scholarships for the children of caddies and employees. This initiative beautifully connects environmental stewardship with accessible education and community empowerment.
Through collective effort and dedication, we supported this ambitious, long-term commitment to a sustainable environment. The program aims to plant a remarkable one million trees by the year 2044, ensuring a lasting legacy of environmental health and educational opportunity for future generations.
Our collaboration highlighted NU’s commitment to social responsibility and sustainability, working alongside SM to achieve a greener, more educated future.
