NU Lipa Celebrates Ed Jerrel Moreno’s 2nd Place Win in the PSA Provincial Oratorical Contest
NU Lipa takes great pride in congratulating Ed Jerrel Moreno, a Grade 12 STEM student, for securing Second Place in the PSA Provincial Oratorical Contest held in celebration of the 36th National Statistics Month. With the theme “Accelerating the SDG Pace of Progress: Mobilizing Data for All,” the competition gathered some of the most articulate and insightful young voices in the province.

Held on October 28, 2025, at the ABC Building in Lipa City, Batangas, the contest challenged participants to deliver thought-provoking speeches that highlight the importance of data in achieving sustainable development goals. Moreno’s compelling delivery and strong analytical lens earned him a well-deserved spot among the top performers.
NU Lipa also extends its heartfelt appreciation to the writer of his piece, Mr. Nathaniel Magpantay, whose craft strengthened the message behind the oration. Equally commendable are his dedicated coaches, Ms. Rose Ann Fernandez and Mr. Edmerson Geronimo, whose guidance, expertise, and encouragement played a crucial role in refining his performance.
This achievement stands as a testament to the hard work, talent, and collaborative spirit of the team behind Moreno’s success. NU Lipa celebrates this milestone with pride, recognizing the excellence he continues to bring to the community. Congratulations, Ed Jerrel—your dedication and brilliance continue to uplift and inspire the Nationalian spirit.
