The Tourism Management program of NU Lipa recently had the privilege of meeting Professor David Hind, President of the Asia Pacific Institute for Events Management (APIEM), to discuss potential collaborations aimed at advancing tourism and events education.

The discussion was led by Dr. Jay Ar Dimaculangan, Dean of the School of Accountancy, Business and Management; Dr. Gene Roy Hernandez, Program Chair for Tourism Management; and faculty members Dr. Noelah Mae Borbon and Ms. Josele Mari Y. Figueroa. Together, they explored strategies to strengthen NU Lipa’s global academic linkages and professional partnerships, fostering opportunities for innovation, research, and excellence in tourism education.

This engagement reflects NU Lipa’s commitment to expanding its international collaborations and providing students and faculty with broader professional and academic horizons in the field of tourism and events management.
