NU Baliwag Students Shine in National Tourism Initiatives πŸ’›πŸ’™

NU Baliwag proudly celebrates the active participation of its School of Tourism and Hospitality Management (STHM) students in key programs spearheaded by the Department of Tourism – Central Office. Among these initiatives were:

  • Filipino Brand of Service Excellence at the MOA Arena

  • Filipinization Branding Program Train-the-Trainers Course at 1898 Hotel

  • Liaison support at the Penthouse Office of Secretary Frasco

These engagements provided our students with invaluable hands-on experience, enhancing their skills in service excellence, cultural promotion, and professional collaboration. Their involvement exemplifies NU Baliwag’s commitment to nurturing future leaders who are ready to contribute meaningfully to the tourism industry.

Moreover, these activities strongly align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly:

  • SDG 4: Quality Education – promoting practical, high-quality learning experiences

  • SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth – preparing students for productive employment

  • SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals – fostering collaboration with government and industry partners

Through initiatives like these, NU Baliwag continues to advance its mission of empowering students to create impactful, socially responsible, and culturally informed contributions to society.
