NUB BSHM 4th Year Students at COMPASS Training Center
Fundamentals of Safety Training • Team Building • Leadership Development, February 10–11, 2026
The 4th year BSHM students successfully completed their Fundamentals of Safety Training at COMPASS Training Center, gaining hands‑on exposure to essential safety protocols practiced in the hospitality industry.

Over the two-day program, students actively participated in, workplace safety demonstrations, emergency response and hazard awareness exercises, team-building challenges and leadership and communication development activities. This immersive training strengthened not only their technical competencies but also cultivated a deeper sense of responsibility, collaboration, and professionalism skills vital for future hospitality practitioners.
This educational activity contributes to the following global goals, SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, promoting safe and healthy learning environments SDG 4: Quality Education, providing experiential, industry-based learning SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, preparing students for a safe, skilled, and productive workforce, SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals ,through the collaboration between the academic community and COMPASS Training Center.
