NU Fairview at the 34th COHREP International Convention and Research Conference


The School of Tourism and Hospitality Management of NU Fairview proudly participated in the 34th COHREP International Convention and Research Conference, held at Sejong University, South Korea, as part of its continuing commitment to academic excellence, international collaboration, and global benchmarking.
Representing the institution were:
• Renielle Cielo Pealane – Tourism Management Program Chair
• Harold Peniel Ofrasio – Hospitality Management Program Chair
• Louisse Alfonso Ramirez – STHM Faculty
The delegation also engaged in academic benchmarking activities at Sejong University, recognized as the leading university in Tourism and Hospitality in South Korea. The visit provided valuable insights into global best practices in hospitality and tourism education, research innovation, and institutional development. The engagement likewise included a cultural immersion experience to strengthen global perspectives and cross-cultural understanding.
Furthermore, a research poster from the Hospitality Management students entitled “The Role of Employees in the Inclusion of Persons with Disability Workers in Selected Food and Beverage Establishments in Quezon City” was presented during the conference.
The study was conducted by Alfred Aga P. Soriano IV, James Ezekiel D. Medel, Jan Aundrey Ganalon, and Red P. Pamintuan, and was presented by their adviser, Mr. Louisse Alfonso Ramirez.
This participation reflects NU Fairview’s dedication to research excellence, inclusivity, global engagement, and the continuous advancement of Tourism and Hospitality education.
