EcoTumbler 2.0 proudly took home the 2nd Runner-Up title at the PacketHACKS x HackTheClimate 2025 finals held on September 10–11, 2025, at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City. This year’s theme was: “Resilience for All: Future-Proofing Our Communities.”
Representing NU Fairview’s BS Information Technology program under the School of Engineering and Technology, Team 5BITS showcased their innovative project, “EcoTumbler 2.0: Solar and App-Driven Compost Barrel,” promoting sustainability through creativity, innovation, and technology.
