NU CCIT Students Excel at BPI Datawave 2025


Two outstanding students from the NU Manila – College of Computing and Information Technologies (CCIT) achieved remarkable success at the BPI Datawave 2025, a leading competition for data innovation organized by Eskwelabs and the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI). The competition brought together top student innovators from universities across the Philippines.

Team “I Got Reincarnated as a CS Student,” composed of Brando Allen Donato and Allaiza Era, both 4th-year BS Computer Science students, proudly secured 2nd Place under the Digitalization Track category. Their innovative project earned praise for its creativity and practical relevance in addressing digital transformation challenges through data analytics and technology-driven insights.
The awarding ceremony was graced by Jose Teodoro “TG” Limcaoco, President and CEO of BPI, who commended the participants for their innovative spirit and emphasized the importance of fostering data-driven thinking among young Filipinos to build a smarter and more sustainable digital economy.
