LOOK: NUNS Student Earns Award at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Mathematical Olympiad

NU Nazareth School is pleased to share that one of its Grade School students successfully participated in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Mathematical Olympiad (Big Bay Bei) 2025–2026 Heat Round, conducted via the ExamOnline platform on November 23, 2025. The competition brought together young mathematics enthusiasts to demonstrate their problem-solving skills in a highly competitive international setting.

Representing the NU Nazareth School, Archimedes De Jesus, a Grade 2 student, earned the 3rd Prize Award for his commendable performance during the Heat Round. The official results were released on November 27, 2025, through the competition’s official Facebook page, marking a proud moment for the school and its growing community of young learners.

Following his exemplary showing, Archimedes has been formally invited to advance to the Big Bay Bei 2025–2026 Final Round, scheduled on March 14–15, 2026, at the Hong Kong Science Park. This invitation places him among selected medalists from the Heat Round who will compete at a higher level of international academic excellence.
