PLANTEASE Research Publication Achieves Scopus Indexing, Showcased at IEEE Region 10 Conference (TENCON 2025)
NU Dasmariñas continues to strengthen its research excellence as another academic milestone is achieved with the study “PlantEase: An Arduino-Powered Solution for Automating Seed Crop Cultivation and Planting”, now successfully recognized as a Scopus-indexed publication.

Developed by BS Computer Engineering students Leigh Francis L. Leonen, Princess Helaena D. Javier, and Jinsei S. Oseo, the study was completed under the guidance of faculty advisers Engr. Joan Katherine N. Romasanta and Engr. Cedirick L. Santiago.
PlantEase is an Arduino-powered system designed to automate seed crop cultivation and planting processes, offering an innovative approach to improving efficiency in agricultural practices through smart technology integration.
This research was presented at the held at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, from October 27–30, 2025, carrying the theme “Unleashing Innovation: Elevating Technologies to New Horizon.”
This milestone reflects NU Dasmariñas’ continued commitment to innovation, research excellence, and the development of future-ready engineers whose work contributes to global technological advancement.
