NU Dasmariñas proudly congratulates Ms. Divina Estacio, Faculty of General Education under the School of Arts, Sciences, and Education, on her outstanding achievements in both academic publication and research.

She successfully published the following textbooks:
Foundations of Mathematical Proficiency and Critical Thinking Textbook 5 (ISBN 978-621-84-6335-6)
Foundations of Mathematical Proficiency and Critical Thinking Teacher’s Manual 5 (ISBN 978-621-84-6355-4)

Both works are officially recognized under the Philippine Copyright (2024) and are now utilized in DepEd schools nationwide, contributing significantly to the development of young learners and strengthening mathematics education across the country.

In addition, Ms. Estacio achieved a remarkable research milestone with her Scopus-indexed publication titled “Exploring New Perspectives: Investigating Emerging Properties in Generalized Fibonacci-Lucas Sequences” in the AIP Conference Proceedings (2025).

Her study builds on the established importance of Fibonacci and Lucas sequences in mathematics, particularly in real-world applications and combinatorial analysis. By introducing a generalized Fibonacci-Lucas sequence, her research unifies key properties and extends existing identities, offering a broader framework for understanding recurrence relations and their applications.

These achievements reflect not only her expertise in mathematics education and research but also her unwavering commitment to nurturing critical thinking and lifelong learning among Filipino students.
